Amy Rome

She consulted on initiatives including Works & Process at the Guggenheim Museum, Santa Fe Desert Chorale, Maria Tallchief Memorial at Lincoln Center and Episcopal Divinity School at Union where she developed a major gift initiative.

Her expertise includes foundation relations, major donor identification and solicitation, board development, nonprofit administration and financial management, special events and planned giving, areas in which she has been advising Pride Live and the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center.

Amy spent her career in New York until 2019 when she moved to Northampton, MA where she maintains a fund-raising consultancy. In addition to working with Pride Live she helps local organizations establish Planned Giving programs appropriate to their scale.

She is the author of School of American Ballet: A History published by the Eakins Press Foundation in 2020.

Amy has served on the Boards of the Academy of Music and the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. In addition, she is passionate about her efforts developing and spearheading the Banned Book Initiative for the League of Women Voters of Northampton.
